Antique CM&ST.P Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul RAILROAD Telegraph Relay

Large antique railroad telegraph relay, stamped CM&ST.P - Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul. The base is black painted wood (looks like maple or mahogany) mounted on black painted cast iron.
I don't know much about these telegraph pieces - please take a look at the photos.  Ask any questions or for more photos.
This relay measures 8-1/4" long by 4-7/8" wide and approx. 3-1/2" tall.  No idea if it is complete.  We bought a small collection of these pieces because they are so cool looking!  Will be listing more in the near future.  This is the only marked railroad one in the collection.
A great piece of railroad history - excellent addition to your collection!  Makes a great paperweight - what a gift for someone into railroad or communication history!
