    Description

    This pair of Iron strap hinges are solid and sound and have an old lightly rusted patina. They measure 9 inches in length and 5 inches wide and 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick. I speculate that they may have come from the lid of a tool box on a Conastoga Wagon. In another listing I will show a group of four hand forge squirrel tail wing nuts and a hand forged wagon bolt and wing nut out of the same group of hardware, possibly also from a wagon.
