Ancient and solid monocular microscope (2,285 kg) from the Victorian period, made of brass in the late 19th century by an optical equipment company.
the signature is visible on the back of the foot of the microscope ,where the written R. & J. Beck Ltd. London 29478 (Richard and Joseph Beck).
The instrument, 25 cm high, has a single tube with rack focus, square table with clip, iris diaphragm under the table, flat and concave mirror on the swing arm and triangular foot.
Comes with its original mahogany case with metal handle.
The state of conservation is perfect: if desired, it is possible to polish the brass perfectly.
